Assistant Professor (Contractually Limited Appointment) The Department of Philosophy invites applications for a one-year, contractually limited, position to begin July 1, 2018, at the rank of Assistant Professor. Preference will be given to applicants qualified to teach courses in value theory, particularly the philosophy of law, the history of political philosophy, and ethics. The successful applicant will be asked to teach 24 units (8 courses) in value-theory and, perhaps, other areas as well, such as feminist philosophy. The minimum starting salary for the one-year period for an assistant professor will be $78,344.
