The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for a Teaching Associate in Philosophy, with courses to be taught in Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 (and possibly beyond) to include Business Ethics (PHIL 318) and some of the following: PHIL 101: Introduction to Philosophy PHIL 102: Introduction to Ethics PHIL 105: Critical Thinking PHIL 110: Logic Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or M.A. degree in Philosophy. Teaching experience in Philosophy at the college level is preferred. Coastal Carolina University is a public comprehensive liberal arts institution located just nine miles from the Atlantic coast resort of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Coastal enrolls more than 10,000 students from 45 states and 58 nations. The University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the baccalaureate and selective master’s degrees of national and/or regional significance in the arts and sciences, business, humanities, education, and health and human services, a specialist degree in educational leadership, and a Ph.D. degree in Marine Science.
