Visiting Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The College of Charleston invites applications for a one-year, non-renewable appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy for 2018-19. The area of specialization is open, but the demonstrated ability to teach a range of courses in applied/practical ethics is essential.

The teaching load is four undergraduate courses per semester, mostly lower-level. Ph.D. required by August 15, 2018.

The Department of Philosophy currently has 11 tenured/tenure-track faculty and strong traditions of research engagement and collegiality.
