Visiting Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Philosophy Department at University of the Pacific is accepting applications for a one-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy, to begin August 2018. AOS: Cognitive Science/Philosophy of Mind. AOC: open. The teaching load is six courses per year and will include Introduction to Cognitive Science and Sensation & Perception (both cross-listed in the Psychology Department). The successful candidate should be a dynamic teacher-scholar who has experience making philosophy exciting to students from diverse backgrounds. Candidates will be expected to engage in scholarly activities. The position comes with the usual non-teaching duties, such as advising and committee work.

The Philosophy Department is in the College of the Pacific, the liberal arts core of the University located in Stockton, California.
