| Details | LEHMAN COLLEGE, Bronx, NY. Assistant Professor. Lehman College is an urban college committed to an undergraduate liberal arts education and ongoing research and publication. Areas of Specialization: preferably History of Philosophy (any period). Areas of Competence: preferably philosophy of mind or applied ethics, and the candidate will be expected to participate actively in teaching some of the Department’s introductory courses. Responsibilities: teach 21 hours (7 courses) per year, although the teaching load of tenure-track faculty members is reduced by eight courses over the first six years, given ongoing research activity. Moreover, a variety of internal grants and other opportunities to obtain reassigned time is available on a competitive basis. Flexibility in teaching a variety of courses.
