TT Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Sage School of Philosophy at Cornell University invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin July 1, 2019. AOS: open. AOC: open. Research interest in one or more of the following areas may be an asset: early modern philosophy, philosophy of science, classical Chinese or Indian philosophy, philosophy of race, metaphysics, and political philosophy. The teaching load is two courses per semester, with advising and service work. The position comes with research funds and full benefits. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in philosophy by the date of appointment or shortly thereafter, and must demonstrate potential for excellence in research and teaching.
