Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

AUBURN UNIVERSITY, Auburn, AL.  One Assistant Professor tenure-track position beginning Fall semester 2019.  3/2 semester teaching load (5 courses/year).  Usual non-teaching duties.  AOS: Open, but one or more of the following desired: philosophy of law, philosophy of language, feminist philosophy. AOC: Open. Factors contributing to a successful candidacy include: capacity to contribute to Auburn’s new Law and Justice major; scholarly record and evidence of research potential; evidence of teaching excellence; quality of writing sample; specialization or competencies in areas mentioned above. Ph.D. is required prior to appointment. Department will conduct on-campus interviews only and conform to the APA’s Statement on the Job Market Calendar.

The candidate selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment; excellent communication skills required.
