The Department of Philosophy and Religion Studies at Rowan University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Philosophy position beginning in Fall 2019.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a PhD in Philosophy, a strong research agenda, and a commitment to quality teaching and active service. 

Teaching responsibilities include introductory and upper-level classes such as Applied Ethics, Environmental Ethics, Biomedical Ethics, Business Ethics, Philosophy and Race, Ethical Theories, and Philosophy and Gender. A 3/3 teaching load is guaranteed for the first two years and can be renewed annually with evidence of continuing scholarship.

Candidates should have an earned doctorate in Philosophy by June, 2019.
