The Department of Literature, Philosophy, and the Arts is seeking an Assistant Professor, tenure track, beginning September 1, 2019. Ph.D. in hand by August 2019. Area of Specialization: 19th and 20th Century Continental Philosophy. Area of Concentration: Feminist History of Philosophy, including Modern Philosophy; or Philosophy of Race, or Philosophy of the Body. Teaching responsibilities include Introduction to Philosophy and/or Critical Thinking and upper level courses in the candidate’s areas of specialization. Evidence of both scholarly promise and evidence of excellence in teaching required.
