Job description |
AOS: History of Western philosophy, period of research specialization open. AOC: open, but the department is particularly interested in non-Western philosophy, philosophy of race, philosophy of law, political philosophy, and aesthetics. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in philosophy is required by the start of the position. Preferred Qualifications: demonstrated commitment to teaching undergraduates from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds, including first-generation students. Position Responsibilities: include teaching a wide range of courses at the upper- and lower-division levels, introductory courses, and general education courses. Research and service are expected and supported. |
