Job description

The UNO Philosophy department seeks an Instructor for a full-time, one-semester replacement position during Spring 2019.  Minimum ABD required; PhD preferred. The teaching load is four courses. AOS and AOC: Open, though we have some preference for candidates who can teach our 3000/4000 level Limits of Consciousness course, which is cross-listed in Psychology and attracts a mix of philosophy, psychology, and neuroscience majors, and who can teach our 2000-level Introduction to Ethics course. 

The University of Nebraska Omaha is a Doctoral/Research institution with over 15,000 students, and its Philosophy department offers an undergraduate BA.  We have around 30 majors and an active philosophy club.
