The Department of Philosophy at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky seeks an Assistant Professor of Ethics to start Fall 2019.  This is a tenure-track position.  Responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate teaching (4 courses per year, i.e., 2 per semester), dissertation and thesis supervision, and standard nonteaching duties.  The UK philosophy department is a pluralistic department open to diverse approaches in philosophy and construes the field of ethics in very broad terms.  The successful applicant will teach courses at all levels of the curriculum but will also be expected to regularly teach large undergraduate courses in applied ethics (business ethics, healthcare ethics and food ethics).  Ph.D. in Philosophy or related field is required.
