The L(P)SOE series has been created for faculty members whose expertise and responsibilities center on undergraduate education and the scholarship of teaching and learning. It entails membership in the faculty Academic Senate and carries the potential for security of employment after a probationary period, but is distinct from a tenure-track assistant professor appointment. The appointment will begin on 7/1/13.
