Job description

Bowdoin College’s Department of Philosophy invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor to begin July 1, 2019. AOS: Open, but preference will be given to candidates with teaching interests in value theory. AOC: Ancient Greek Philosophy. 

Applicants should demonstrate a promise of successful scholarly engagement and dedication to teaching excellence in a liberal arts environment. The teaching expectation is four courses per year. PhD required, advanced ABDs considered.
