Indiana University, Department of Philosophy, Bloomington, IN. A one-year, non-tenure-track Visiting Lecturer position beginning August 2019. AOS: Ethics. AOC: open. Six courses for the year, divided equally between Fall and Spring Semester. The department is looking for someone to teach Introduction to Ethics and a course in the Liberal Arts and Management Program (LAMP) on “Ethics and Responsible Management.” Strong commitment to teaching is expected; Ph.D. required at time of appointment. Instructions for letters of recommendation.
Applicants will enter in the names and contact details of referees in their People Admin application. Referees may provide letters of recommendation in the following ways:
1) Referees can upload their letter directly to the applicant’s People Admin application. Applicant will enter in referee’s name and email into application and a link will be sent via email to the referee requesting their letter of recommendation, after applicant has submitted their application.
2) If applicant uses Interfolio, applicant can request the letter of recommendation be sent directly to their People Admin application by Interfolio. Please search their online help for instructions or contact <[email protected]> for assistance.
3) Referees can mail their letters of recommendation to: Search Committee, Philosophy Department, Indiana University, 1033 E. 3rd St., Bloomington, IN 47405-7005.
Electronic submission through People Admin is preferred.
Letters of recommendation must be received by February 6, 2019, no exception can be made past this date. Please note, requests for reference letters are not sent to referees until the applicant has submitted their People Admin application.
