Postdoc at the Center for Moral and Political Philosophy (EXPIRED)

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in philosophy or a related discipline approved after May 2016 and no later than the time of the commencement of the fellowship (October 1st, 2019).

Fellows are expected to take part in all the activities of the Centre throughout their fellowship, including active participation in colloquia and discussion groups, as well as conferences and workshops at the Center and elsewhere. Fellows may offer to teach a course on a topic related to their research proposal. The fellowship carries a monthly stipend of 10,000 NIS (approximately $2500). The Centre will supply travel funds as well.

Applicants are also encouraged to apply for a Lady Davis Fellowship, which has a deadline of December 31st (Notice that their deadline is earlier!). If both applications are successful, deferral arrangements on one of the Post-Docs – that will in effect make this a two-year Hebrew University Post-Doc – may be possible.
