Assistant Professor of Philosophy (EXPIRED)

Assistant Professor of Philosophy, University of Delaware (Newark, DE). Full-time, tenure track.

Teach undergraduate courses in areas including Political Philosophy, Philosophy of Law, Ethics and Applied Ethics; maintain an ongoing record of scholarship; and participate in service/scholarly activities designed to advance the mission of the University, College, and Department.

• AOS: Political Philosophy and Philosophy of Law
• AOC: Ethics and Applied Ethics

Must have a Ph.D. in Philosophy; an established record of excellent teaching, evidenced by at least one academic year of applicable teaching experience; and a record of publication in leading journals or with well-regarded presses. The successful candidate will be joining a philosophically active department that emphasizes scholarly productivity and teaching excellence. The typical teaching load is five courses per year on a semester system.
