Sawyier Pre-Doctoral Teaching Fellowship in Philosophy

ILLINOIS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, CHICAGO, IL.  Fay Horton Sawyier Pre-Doctoral Teaching Fellowship in Philosophy.  One year fellowship, renewable for a second year, intended for graduate students at the dissertation stage of their studies.  Begins August 2013.  We are interested in candidates with a research specialty in one of the following areas:  philosophy of law, feminist philosophy, or history of analytic philosophy.  Ability to teach an upper-level course in applied ethics also highly desirable.  Teaching responsibilities typically consist of one upper-level undergraduate philosophy course and one lower-level humanities course each semester.  Salary $36,000 per year plus benefits and relocation assistance.  Candidates must have completed all the requirements for the Ph.
