| Details | [ The deadline for applications has been fixed on AJO and is now Oct 17 ] The Department of Philosophy invites applications for a tenure-track position at the ranks of Assistant Professor starting in the fall of 2013. AOS: Philosophy of Mind. AOC: Philosophy of Language, Metaphysics, and Ethics. Teaching responsibilities at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Candidate must be willing and able to teach a graduate pro-seminar on 20th century analytic philosophy. Additional weight will be given to candidates that build on Bowling Green’s strength in Applied Philosophy, which includes normative ethics, applied ethics, and political philosophy. Applications must include a curriculum vita, two writing sample of no more than 25 pages each, three letters of recommendation, graduate transcripts, and evidence of teaching effectiveness. Salary is competitive and commensurate with peer institution levels for rank and position, and in keeping with candidates experience and credentials.
