Postdoctoral Positions

The Berlin School of Mind and Brain and the Philosophical Institute of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin invite applications for a three-year Postdoc position.

Area of specialization: Philosophy of Mind

Area of competence: Philosophy of Science, Neuroscience and/or Psychology

A focus on one of the school’s main research topics is desirable:

• ‘perception, attention, and consciousness’
• ‘decision-making’, ‘language’
• ‘brain plasticity and lifespan ontogeny’
• ‘mental disorders and brain dysfunction’
• ‘human sociality and the brain’ 

The successful candidate is expected to pursue a project at the interface between philosophy and neuroscience. He or she will be a member of the Berlin School of Mind and Brain and of the Philosophical Institute of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He or she will be expected to teach four courses per year and participate in the school’s activities.
