Washington University The Department of Philosophy is accepting applications for a McDonnell Postdoctoral Fellowship for the 2013-2014 academic year in the Department’s program in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology (PNP). Housed within the Department of Philosophy, the PNP program promotes formal and informal interaction with Washington University psychologists and neuroscientists. The program includes both graduate and undergraduate degree offerings, a wide range of courses and seminars, and regular colloquia and research group meetings. A PNP postdoctoral fellow would be expected to teach two courses per year in the Department of Philosophy, present two or three public lectures, carry out independent research, and coordinate a variety of PNP functions. There is a strong probability that, with successful performance, fellowships would be renewed for a second year, 2014-2015. Interested candidates should apply on-line at http://jobs.wustl.edu, job opening ID # 24486, and attach curriculum vitae, a succinct writing sample, and a brief statement of teaching and research interests. Three letters of reference should be emailed to kmount@wustl.edu. Washington University is an Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer. Women and minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
