Philosophy Instructors - Temporary Faculty Positions (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at Kutztown University invites applications for two temporary, part-time instructor positions for the academic year Fall 2019-Spring 2020.  Teaching load is two undergraduate courses each semester.  The four courses will include three sections of Analytical Writing and one section of a course in the applicant’s area of specialization or competence that meets needs in the department.  Area of Specialization: Open.  Area of Competence: Open.  In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: MA in Philosophy, some college-level teaching experience, and a successful interview and classroom demonstration.  Preferred: Ph.D., and teaching experience in writing.
