Job description

Philosophy:  Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor (AOS: Ethics) to teach a full load of undergraduate courses that could include:  Introduction to Ethics, Medical Ethics, and Ethical Theory; and advise students.

Require:  Ph.D. in Philosophy by date of appointment, August 2019, for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor; ABD in Philosophy for appointment as Instructor; prior teaching experience.   We seek a candidate who will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching.  Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.  

The department is pluralist and emphasizes the history of philosophy and the teaching of primary texts.
