Job description |
The candidate would teach three 3-credit courses in the fall and two in the spring. The courses would be mainly Introduction to Philosophy, a required course for all first-year students (to see descriptions copy and paste the following link into your browser: https://libguides.stonehill.edu/c.php?g=863217&p=6189439 and examples of existing courses: https://www.stonehill.edu/academics/major-minors-programs/philosophy/courses/ ) The ideal candidate would create and teach a philosophically rigorous and diverse course, and would help our students see the connection between the class materials and their own lives.
