Philosophy: Assistant Professor of European, Environmental, and Diaspora Philosophy, Tenure-Track. Department Information and Job Summary: The philosophy department at the University of Denver seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor to begin September 2013. The successful candidate will teach a five course load over three academic quarters and maintain a program of research and publication. The majority of teaching is at the undergraduate level with the opportunity to teach Masters level students and to participate in the University of Denver's Joint Doctoral Program with the Iliff School of Theology. Qualifications: Ph.D. required. Area of Specialization: Contemporary European Philosophy, Environmental Ethics, Diaspora Studies. Area of Competence: Open. The department has a strong preference for candidates whose research resides at the intersection of these three areas of specialization.
