Limited-Term Appointment in Philosophy The Department of Political Science, Philosophy and Economics at Nipissing University invites applications for a full-time, limited term 10-month appointment commencing August 1, 2019. The position is subject to final budgetary approval. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Philosophy, however, ABD candidates may be considered. Evidence of excellence in teaching at the university level and an active research agenda in any area of Philosophy is strongly preferred. The successful candidate should be prepared to teach the following courses: PHIL 1117 Values and the Human Condition (one term) PHIL 2717 Environmental Ethics (one term) PHIL 2505 Reasoning and Logical Argument (two terms) PHIL 3756 Special Topics in Social Political Philosophy: TBA (one term) Additional one term course in Philosophy |
