What is the difference between an ad and a stub?
Ads are submitted by employers and contain full details and text regarding a position. Stubs are entered by PhilJobs staff and contain basic details regarding a position and links to a venue where full details can be found. We encourage departments to convert stubs into proper ads. The Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Philosophy at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for the position of Department Chair beginning July 1, 2013. This is a twelve-month, tenured position at the Associate or Full Professor rank. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will be someone capable of effectively leading a multidisciplinary department and serving as an advocate for the department at the College and University levels. The department has 15 tenured/tenure track faculty and 6 full-time lecturers with a combined total of approximately 225 majors.
