| Details | The Department of Philosophy at Georgetown University is searching for a tenure-track assistant professor, starting August 2013. The teaching load is two courses per semester, graduate and undergraduate. The Department is looking for candidates whose central research is constructively engaged with the Catholic philosophical tradition, broadly construed. Candidates must show strong promise of excellence in teaching and research. Ph.D. prior to appointment is required. Salary is competitive. Georgetown is a Jesuit and Catholic university.
