Job description

This position is part of the Mellon Faculty Fellows Program for a Diverse Professoriate.  Candidates from backgrounds underrepresented in higher education are especially encouraged to apply. 

The successful candidate will be able to contribute not just to the philosophy curriculum at Coe College but also to one or more of our various interdisciplinary programs in Environmental Studies, Gender Studies, African American Studies, International Studies, or Social and Criminal Justice.  The teaching load in the first two years of appointment are 1-2 or 2-1.  After that the teaching load reverts to the normal Coe College teaching load of 3-3 (three courses per semester).
