Associate/Full Professor

Duties:

Associate or Full Professor. Demonstrated research productivity. Ph.D. in Philosophy or cognate field in hand. AOS: Ancient Philosophy (especially Aristotle), or 20th Century Continental Philosophy. AOC: open. Salary negotiable. Anticipated date of employment is August 7, 2013. Normal teaching load is 2/2; 9 month appointment. The Ph.D. program in Philosophy at USF has a major emphasis in the History of Philosophy. Review of applications will begin immediately. Applications must be received by December 3, 2012. Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience):

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Normally will have produced creative work, professional writing or research in referred and other professional journals, and be a recognized authority in the field of specialization. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Professor.
