| Details | TRINITY COLLEGE, HARTFORD, CT seeks qualified candidates for a joint appointment in the Departments of Philosophy and Classics. The appointment will be at the level of Assistant Professor, tenure track, beginning August 2013. Ph.D. in Philosophy required. AOS: Ancient Greek Philosophy. AOC: Open, but candidate should have wide knowledge of and interest in the history of philosophy, especially modern and 20th Century European philosophy. Five courses per year (reduced to four during first two years). In addition to teaching responsibilities in Philosophy (eight courses every two years), candidates must be able to teach upper level undergraduate literature courses in Ancient Greek (two courses every two years).
