Clinical Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York seeks a Clinical Assistant Professor. AOS: Philosophy of Social Science or Social Philosophy. AOC: At least two of: Formal methods (game theory, social choice, etc), Social epistemology, political economy, Philosophy of Science, Feminist Philosophy, and Political Philosophy.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of courses as part of UB’s new PPE (Politics, Philosophy, and Economy) undergraduate major. The PPE Major is housed in UB’s Philosophy Department. This is a 10-month (academic year) non-tenure track full-time faculty position with an initial three-year appointment with the possibility of renewal. The teaching load is four courses per semester (one high enrollment course per term will be counted double thus reducing course load to 3), plus committee work. Salary: $55,000 plus benefits.
