Brief Summary A tenure-track position in Philosophy and Religion at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 2020. A research specialization in ethics is required and an established record of publication or strong potential for publication is expected. The ideal candidate will provide evidence of actual or potential excellence in teaching some area(s) of applied ethics. ABD required, PhD expected in hand at the time of appointment. Minimum Requirements Ph.D. in Philosophy, or A.B.D. Philosophy, specialization in Ethics Primary Function of Organizational Unit The Department of Philosophy and Religion shares the university’s commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
