UNIVERSITY OF UTAH, SALT LAKE CITY, UT – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR. The Department of Philosophy seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2013. The Area of Specialization is Political Philosophy, interpreted broadly to include, for example, Environmental Justice, Global Justice, Feminist Social Philosophy, and politically-oriented work on Practical Rationality. Theoretical, historical, and applied approaches are all welcome. Teaching load for tenure track faculty at the University of Utah is two courses per semester of undergraduate and graduate teaching.
