Job description

The Philosophy Department at Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey New Brunswick, NJ, invites applications for the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship. This two-year appointment will begin July 1, 2020. Responsibilities include teaching 2 courses the first year and one course the second year. The position will have a salary of $64,000, and provide an annual research account of $2,000. Areas of specialization and competence are open. We seek a philosopher of exceptional promise who will contribute to the excellence of our department. 

Fellows must have earned a Ph.D. in philosophy between September 1, 2015 and June 30, 2020.  Fellows will be appointed for two years. Hard deadline is November 15, 2019,
