| Job description |
The Department of Philosophy at William & Mary seeks applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level. Appointment will begin August 10, 2020. AOS is open, but the successful applicant must have a strong AOC in, and be qualified to teach undergraduate courses and direct honors theses in at least one of the following: non-Western Philosophy, 20th Century Continental Philosophy, Philosophy of Race, or Philosophy of Gender. Candidate must be committed to excellence in both scholarship and teaching. The new hire will also contribute to a College-wide general education curriculum for freshmen through seniors. The teaching expectation is 2 courses per semester. |
