The Philosophy Department at Bucknell University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin August 2020. AOS: Open; AOC: Logic. We seek a teacher-scholar with broad philosophical interests, an understanding of the task of teaching in an undergraduate liberal arts curriculum, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusive pedagogy. Ph.D. in Philosophy required by the start of the appointment. Candidates should demonstrate ability to teach Introduction to Philosophy, Logic, Symbolic Logic, and intermediate and advanced undergraduate courses in areas complementing the department's current strengths.
