Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

Assistant Professor in Philosophy, tenure-track, beginning September 2020. Areas of expertise: Metaphysics and Epistemology. Areas of competence: open, but the department has particular interest in philosophy of language and philosophy of science. The ideal applicant will have a Ph.D. in philosophy, but advanced ABDs in philosophy will be considered. The successful applicant will be expected to teach in her/his area of expertise and of teaching competence at all undergraduate levels, from introductory to advanced. Teaching load is 2 courses per term; Union College’s academic year consists of three 10-week trimesters.
