Professor of Philosophy (Open Rank)

The position includes graduate and undergraduate teaching, 4.5 courses per year on the quarter system, thesis supervision and standard non-teaching duties. Ph.D. or ABD required, as well as compelling evidence of commitment to research and publication. The successful candidate must be committed to teaching effectively at all levels, including graduate mentoring. Furthermore, he or she will be expected to enhance connections among research groups in the department and, where applicable, within the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
