Full or Distinguished Professor

CITY UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK GRADUATE CENTER, New York, NY. The Ph.D. Program in Philosophy of the CUNY Graduate Center invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of tenured Full Professor. A candidate of outstanding merit, accomplishment, and scholarly reputation in the field may be nominated as a Distinguished Professor. AOS: Open. Duties include graduate teaching, research, departmental service, and advising students (including supervision of doctoral dissertations). The position requires: earned doctorate, record of significant academic publications and achievement; established scholarly reputation; experience teaching and supervising graduate students.

The appointment will begin in Fall 2013.  Minority candidates and women are especially encouraged to apply.  Review of applications will begin November 15, 2012.
