Assistant Professor

College of Charleston, Department of Philosophy. Tenure-track appointment at rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 16, 2013. AOS: Metaphysics or Epistemology. AOC: open. We seek a broadly trained philosopher who can bring central areas of analytic philosophy to life for an undergraduate audience. We welcome faculty who would contribute to interdisciplinary programs. Ph.D. required by August 15, 2013 for appointment as Assistant Professor at full salary. Promise of excellence in teaching and research required. Under the department’s current instructional workload approach, the normal teaching load for those actively engaged in productive research is 3/2.
