What is the difference between an ad and a stub?
Ads are submitted by employers and contain full details and text regarding a position. Stubs are entered by PhilJobs staff and contain basic details regarding a position and links to a venue where full details can be found. We encourage departments to convert stubs into proper ads. We normally email advertisers a link to do this. If you have not received such a link, contact us with the details of your ad.

The Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies at East Stroudsburg University is establishing a two-year, temporary faculty teaching pool. Applications for temporary vacancies are accepted on an on-going basis and remain current for the 2011 through 2013 academic years. Applications on-hand will be used to fill vacancies as needed.
Applicants are to attach a cover letter, candidate's vitae, unofficial transcripts (official transcripts required before appointment) and contact information for three professional references. Final determination will be based upon a successful interview, which may include a teaching demonstration. Failure to submit all the required materials may lead to the candidate not being considered. All candidates must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
