The Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies at East Stroudsburg University is establishing a two-year, temporary faculty teaching pool. Applications for temporary vacancies are accepted on an on-going basis and remain current for the 2011 through 2013 academic years. Applications on-hand will be used to fill vacancies as needed.


Required Qualifications:
 
Applicant must be competent to teach courses in Introductory Philosophy and other General Education Philosophy courses. A Master's degree in Philosophy is required and experience working with diverse student populations preferred. Candidate should demonstrate teaching excellence in areas of competence. Final selection will be based on excellence in scholastic achievement, a review of the candidate's curriculum vitae and a successful interview. Distance learning and/or off-campus teaching opportunities may be possible.


Preferred Qualifications: 
Experience working with diverse student populations.
