Job Description:

McDaniel College invites applications for a Visiting Professor (open rank) in Philosophy starting August 2020.   Preference will be given to candidates with a specialization in the philosophy of race/critical race theory, and a competence in value theory or social/political philosophy. A Ph.D. or advanced ABD is preferred.

Requirements:

The Department seeks candidates with a strong commitment to teaching, scholarly work, engaging students in research, and building a diverse and inclusive educational environment. The teaching load for this position is three courses per semester.  The position is eligible for a full-time benefit package.
