Job description

The Department of Philosophy of Georgetown University seeks to fill the Isabelle A. and Henry D. Martin Chair in medieval philosophy.

The Department aims to fill this position at the full professor level, but will consider applications from outstanding associate-level scholars. A candidate hired at the associate professor level would not occupy the endowed chair until promoted to full professor and achieving the appropriate level of distinction.

The standard teaching load is two courses per semester. Teaching will be at both the undergraduate and the graduate levels, including graduate supervision.
