Visiting Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Philosophy Department at Binghamton University invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor position with a specialization in Epistemology, Metaphysics, Philosophy of Language, or Philosophy of Science. The appointment will begin on September 1, 2020.

The successful candidate will normally teach three courses each semester, to include courses in their area of research, as well as in critical thinking and/or logic. The Department encourages and supports faculty scholarship. In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, funds to support research activities will also be available.

Candidates must have a PhD in philosophy, preferably at the time of application, and no later than the date of appointment.
