Job description

To promote the advancement of talented international researchers at the highest level of the institution, the University of Groningen has initiated the prestigious Rosalind Franklin Fellowship programme. This ambitious programme has been running since 2007, having financed over sixty fellowships thus far.


The Rosalind Franklin Fellowship programme is primarily directed at women in industry, academia or research institutes who have a PhD and aim for a career towards full professorship in a European top research university.


As part of the RFF Programme, the Faculty of Philosophy is looking for a candidate in political philosophy.


The Faculty of Philosophy is a rich and vibrant community with an excellent record both in teaching and in research. It consists of four departments: History of Philosophy, Ethics, Practical Philosophy and Theoretical Philosophy. There are about 400 students and 55 staff members.
