Mississippi University for Women invites applications for a tenure-track assistant or associate professor in philosophy, beginning August 2013. An earned doctorate in philosophy is required at the time of employment. Teaching load is 4-4; summer teaching is usually available. Area of specialty is open but teaching responsibilities might include Introduction to Philosophy, Ancient and Medieval, Logic, Modern Philosophy, Business Ethics, Contemporary Ethical Problems. Other duties include student advising, university service, and scholarship.
