Job description |
The position The position is at the Inland School of Business and Social Sciences, Department of Law, Philosophy and International Studies located at the Lillehammer Campus. The department currently has eight full-time appointments in Philosophy. The department offers philosophy courses on all academic levels, including Examen philosophicum and Examen facultatum; BA courses in Ethics and Environmental Philosophy; MA and PhD level courses in Philosophy of science and Ethics. There is one permanent, full-time vacancy. Appointment as soon as possible. Please note that the vacancy has a Scandinavian language requirement, i.e. the position requires the ability to teach in Norwegian, Swedish or Danish at the time of appointment.
We are seeking colleagues that can contribute to the long term development of teaching and research at the department. Ability for independent work as well as cooperation is important. The successful candidate will be skilled and motivated for research- and administrative leadership.
