The Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies at Louisiana State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position that begins Fall 2021. AOS (Area of Specialization): Ancient Philosophy. AOC (Area of Competence): Open. Preference for candidates able to teach other areas in the History of Philosophy and/or contribute to our undergraduate concentration in Law, Ethics and Social Justice (LESJ).The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active record of publication and to teach two courses per semester (four courses per year). Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Philosophy prior to appointment. Review of applications will begin on November 23, 2020 and continue until the position is filled.
