Marian University, a premier Catholic, liberal arts university, located in Fond du Lac, WI invites applications for two, full-time, tenure track faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor, beginning August, 2013. Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in undergraduate philosophy. Normal teaching load is 12 credits per semester. Summer and winterim teaching available. Additional responsibilities include academic advising; and department, school and university-wide service and committee work. One position will assume administrative responsibilities as department chair beginning August 2014.
Ph.D. in Philosophy and teaching experience required. Competence in social and political philosophy, philosophy of law and applied ethics preferred. Willingness to support the Mission and Core Values of Marian University.
